Just in from Italy, a beautiful Fulvia series 2 Montecarlo, the car was built to commemorate Lancias success in the Monte Carlo rally which they dominated with the Fulvia. The bodywork is original apart from the bonnet and boot lid which were replaced with the lighter aluminium ones from a series one car. The engine has been rebuilt with the addition of mild rally cams which gives it added torque, a stainless steel HF exhaust, beautiful like new ‘Bordigari’ seats with Sabelt straps, HF lower front wishbones for added negative camber which helps in the corners and to finish it off it has magnesium gold four spoke wheels as per the original factory cars! This is a very very nice example of the now very rare Montecarlo which are appreciating rapidly with the HF models. We have just had a thoroughly enjoyable three days drive back from Trieste in the car being tooted and waved at all the way home! it was the centre of attention in Calais docks waiting for the ferry! This really is stunning example.
